Is anyone out there using automatic despensing equipment rather than stencils for depositing paste on BGA patterns prior to placement/repair. What is minimum dot size that can be reliably applied. Pro's/con's?

Has anyone out there tried placing BGA's with a Fuji IP2? Fuji says flat out no way but I think we can if we get them in T&R.

We have placed them before. You can only inspect the perimeter, but with the larger pitch in wasn't a problem. We also picked off matrix trays, but the BGA's we did had no center array. But if that type are on T&R it should work as well.
