Hello guys ! I have a problem, I am finding some blow holes in the solder join in a resistors pad, can this be because of high humidity in the board? does baking the boards fix the problem? thanks

Normally, you should not have to bake boards that are properly packaged and stored. Since you are seeing problems, baking makes sense. Consider 125C for 4 to 6 hours. Additionally, look here for more, while waiting for others: http://www.smtnet.

We always bake our loaded boards before any BGA rework is done. 12 to 16 hours at 100 c. We have had incidents in the past on loaded boards where 125 c has melted parts and the occasional low temp BGA trays. 100 c has proven safe for the past 10 y
