Does anyone have or know of a standard that deals with the shrinkage % of SMT components. One of my customers has asked for this to enter into their MRP system. I could make a guess but it would be nice to know if there is a standard to compare it

Investing in a taping machine is worth the money. Just saving you the aggravation of dealing with tubes is worth it. Most placement machine handle tape & reel much better than tube feeders. everytime you placement machine is stopped, it's costing you

You're correct. It's a GREAT deal, especially when you match it up against those rip-off machines that cost $25k++. Maybe products like this will get those very nice suppliers' attention and force them to price products reasonably.

I don't think there is a standard, too many variables, but I could be wrong. I believe ERSA wrote a technical article that deals with double drop. You can probably find it just by doing a web search.

Hi Dave, I'll check out how big of a deal it would be to fix. If its simple then we'll nail it. Either way its on the list. As for the virus question - we actually scan all emails for viruses and they are picked up by our server.
