We are currently using a product made by Syspro called Impact Encore. Although we have had misc. problems here and there in general it is a fully featured product at a reasonable price. It is worth checking out.

Yes, that's what people are thinking. The 217�C melting temperature that you mention requires a ~250�C reflow temperature. Generally, boards, legend ink, and components cannot take that temperature. Further, few ovens can produce that temperature

We measure the thickness of solder paste printed onto PCBs as a control of the printing process. Generally 6 thou stencils are used and give between 6.2 and 6.8 thou. What thicknesses do other users get? Cheers! Mark

Go one to one at 7mils for these connectors. Generally your stencil shop will do this for you. Somebody has the artwork since a stencil was made for it at sometime? Russ
