| | Cpk's on top flight ovens (e.g., Conceptronics, Heller, Electrovert, Vitronics) vary wildly, from 1 to 2+, between different supplers. The suppliers don't seem to understand Cpk's. A supplier's rep whose oven has a Cpk of 1.0 told me: | | 1. C

No one knows what type of board you use. So, assuming you're talking a fairly standard FR4. Q1a. actually, what is max temperature and duration can a bare PCB reflow without any quality problem? A1a. We'd guess your board could take 250*C for may

Hi, As stated by everyone ,you really should have a Profiler and be checking the oven at least once a week. As a quick fix to Identify if you are reaching reflow temp at all, I would recommend that you buy some Thermal Indicators (temp. stickers)th

I don't believe that the TRS14's are suitible for lead free - the max temp rating from the data sheet is 275oC. When you get near temperatures like 350 C I'm under the impression that the oven itself would start suffering embrittlement damage. Howev

Does anyone have any experience running Aluminum Electrolytic Caps with a SAC305 alloy. The profile for the solder calls out a peak temp of 235-255C and 60-75 seconds above 217C. Most can cap manufacturers are calling out for 230-245c max for no lo

I'm looking for an oven manufacturer that makes an oven in the 70 to 85C temperature range. I don't need 260C and all the mass/weight that comes with it. The incubator type seem to max out at 50C. Can anybody recommend a source? We're looking to bu

What is the solder finish of the board?. If this is gold, maybe you should check the reflow profile and max temperature which can easely kill your gold coating so problems with bonding. Also we are using Prozone Multicore with ultrasonic to clean

Time is also a factor, usually. IIRC almost everytime I"ve seen a max temp rating it also included time. ex. 225C for 20 seconds. If a part can take 300C but the spec sheet says 220C and you take it to 225C, it doesn't matter if the heat made the pa
