MyData DPak not placing

Electronics Forum | Mon Jul 29 13:48:20 EDT 2013 | cyber_wolf

We have placed millions of DPAKS on our Mydatas without issues. Usually the crosshairs need to be just slightly to the right of the dimple when trimming. We do not use high centering force. Please tell us exactly what the error message is.

Paste printing fine pitch components

Electronics Forum | Fri Oct 18 09:27:53 EDT 2013 | dontfeedphils

I believe it's mostly worn off through cleaning solvents and the slight abrasion during the under stencil cleaning process. I couldn't say whether or not it's ever in a state that would allow it to transfer to the PCB though.

MPM Accuflex fails to initialize powered rail

Electronics Forum | Fri Jul 18 16:04:31 EDT 2014 | comatose

We had this. The anti-backlash nuts were binding. We took them apart, chased the threads with a tap and re-assembled with slightly less pre-load. Hasn't been a problem since.

Press fit parts help

Electronics Forum | Wed Oct 15 03:59:00 EDT 2014 | rob

Are you using specific tooling for each part, or just generic? If so it could be pushing down at an angle and slightly tearing the PCB. We use the same style press as you but make custom fixtures to fit each connector and hold each PCB tight.

Hi George - Better late than never. Nice units but also look at the cost of weekly consumables. Apollo is about the same but their new Comet units being slightly lower on tip costs and PROMATION is the lowest cost of ownership. Send samples to be sol

Universal GSM Feeder Issues

Electronics Forum | Thu Aug 13 05:28:45 EDT 2015 | dilogic

We had occasional problems and usually solve it by pulling out pogo pins slightly to extend them a bit... Also note that electric feeders have "reel empty" sensor that gives the same error message (if you are using cut tape strips without reel)

Halogen-free Solder Re-flow Quality Issues

Electronics Forum | Sat Aug 29 21:45:49 EDT 2015 | sarason

And I might add the immortal words of Lord Kelvin "To measure, is to know" and again reiterated by Deming in a slightly more acidic way "In God we trust, All others must bring data" sarason

Does pot temperature affects quality of the solder joints?

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 02 11:01:57 EST 2017 | charliedci

Maybe increased barrel fill? Raising pot temps slightly seems to increase barrel fill at selective solder, something we battle with.

Yestech B2 Aoi Calibration Question

Electronics Forum | Wed Jan 31 10:37:10 EST 2018 | dontfeedphils

I believe there are three small allen head bolts that hold the camera card to the gantry. Loosen them a bit and ever so slightly move the card up or down depending on the angle.
