Trying to create my own RFID reader based off the MFRC522 demo board by copying the layout and components, then later i am planning to change the footprint. I am having trouble replicating their crystal. The mfrc522 datasheet calls for a 27.12 mhz

It seems there isn't right connection between solder and solder-legs. Maybe check that the LEDs get huminidity, have some oxidation on the legs, try different solder paste, check the reflow solder profile. On the photo I can not saw properly reflowe

We currently use Kester's ep256 as well and it seems to be a bit more grainy than one would expect from lead, especially if the temperature is too low. That paste says it's specialty is being robust over a wide range of profiles and stencil conditio

I know your application isn't BGA but the data sheet also mention about the peak temperature - 235 Celsius. For the LEDs you can reach higher temperature and I recommend to reach 225-235 Celsius. You will get significantly better results because the

Question for everyone regarding part placement on the SMT line (feeder position)

We have had a few large human error, wrong placement in the SMT set up over the past year(same package size placed in the wrong feeder position to where it goes unnoticed) and we are trying to look for possible process improvements to prevent this fr

After I create the pick & place program on the pick and place machine (Assembléon, recently aquired by kulicke and soffa), we generate setup sheets for the operator which lists what component goes into what feeder. Upon loading a tape & reel in the f
