It does not do this all the time, just when it is sitting for about 10 minutes or so. I will give that a try though.

If you are facing the back of the machine take left most panel off. There are usually two fans built into this panel.(unplug the fan connector and set cover aside) The servo-driver cards will all be in a row. They should be labeled accordingly.

I found them and swapped the first 2 and set the dip switches. I will leave the machine sit for awhile and see what happens. It reset ok, but time will have to tell. Thanks again

My chipshooter will not "Time out", it will try to pick 3x and then alert the operator. Which would be 3 misses per empty reel. Unless I misread his post, he said 500 ppm at the placement machine. That makes a big difference.

Try adjusting your vision file. There are a couple of different ways you can vision this part. Why is the nozzle cut down. We place electro. caps also and use a standard nozzle. Are you using a deep pocket feeder. MrMaint

The fids do not need to be in the same place, but it is much easier to get good alignment if they are. It will become trial and error if they are different. Jerry

We also had issues with paste sticking on our Trans Automation printer and switched to the Permalex blades. That made the biggest difference with release. They are a little pricey but it was worth it.
