Dek 249 and Dek 260 models use to have fiducial recognition where table would adjust to the stencil. However, I would still recomend you buy an inline model because the change over will be much faster. Probably 10 times faster.

I have a lot of experience on 1995 vintage Dek 248 and Dek 249. The 1995 to 1997 vintage were not the best. If Dek has improved them, great! If not, then I would not buy one. Dek 265 is a great printer. Dek did not put a lot of support into Dek

sipad does work we used it on one assy it had a very fine pitch part on it and at that time our dek 260 wasn't up to the task along with our 8 mil stencils. we had no problems with it it was sticky enough to hold the parts on thur all smt machines.

We are in the process of preparing for a new board that requires paste in hole processing. The hole is a .020" via, and our customer wants it filled with solder, but not bulging past flush. For printers,we use a DEK 249 with a squeegee, and a DEK 260
