If this is machine is of the same type of construction as our 248 with the pneumatic table sliding mechanism, check the 'table out sensor' in the 'digital inputs' section of the diagnostics menu. rgds AR

248 Table In/Out is pneumatic (as stated), but I think Shane is referring to Print Carriage which is electrical with positional "encoder" feedback. Need to check for feedback display in output dignostic.

Got it. The whole carriage travel area had to be recalibrated. Not very familiar with this unit, but I stumbled through it. Thanks for all of your help. Shane

Would anyone know the differences between a DEK 265 LT, DEK 265 GSX and a DEK 248? Thanks.

I would try contacting DEK directly. As of last year, DEK fully supported these older generation machines. (Which is more than I can say for some OTHER screenprinter manufacturer. No, I won't name names)

You don't say what generation of 248 we're working with... there are a few. Get in touch; I should be able to assist. http://www.dekhead.com

Depends on to what degree it has been disassembled; How much verification of repeatability is required; and if everything actually works... 2 hour - 2 days.

Squeegee error on a 248 is strictly that sensor (reed SW) on corresponding (Front / rear) squeegee cylinder is not seeing a change in state... Either a physical obstruction preventing cylinder from exending fully - OR- if it is extending fully, then

Not something that pops up on used market much; but still available from DEK. P/N: 002070 I think ~$200 for a set of 4 DEKHEAD www.dekhead.com

Could certainly be sensors; does table (attempt to?) move out upon machine initialization? Or could be bridge driver (on board) or motor. JOHN www.dekhead.com
