Thanks Rob, Our tape does meet the Kemet spec but I am actually wondering if there is an EIA spec or something to compare to.

Nearly all of our assemblies have to meet class 3 requirements and we regularly use 5 and 6 mil stencils. If you've got reasonably well controlled processes you won't have any trouble getting class 3 joints on QFPs and discretes.

If the terms are connected electrically it does meet IPC bridging between "non common conductors" is the defect you should be fine, FYI, the .010" spacing is a violation of IPC 782 Russ

Steve just mentioned the 782 for ammo to customer, we usually get "it doesn't meet IPC" so we then say it was not designed to. let the pissin contest begin! Russ

The leads may be that Alloy 42. I would look to be sure your peak temp at reflow is over 220C, like 222C is nice. Also check that time-over-liquidous is meeting solderpaste mfrs. specification.
