We want to produce BGA�s which will be see burn in conditions of 140�C / 24h active tested. Now we think about problems for the solderball uniformity. Does anybody know about problems or about special solderball alloys for such productsconditions ?

Yes, that's what people are thinking. The 217�C melting temperature that you mention requires a ~250�C reflow temperature. Generally, boards, legend ink, and components cannot take that temperature. Further, few ovens can produce that temperature

I would shy away from a Dremel. They are great for a hobby, but produce too much spin off at the tip to be reliable. A micro-drill is the appropriate tool. The cheap way out would be tweezers scissors. That is if you can get under the trace.

Hi Hany_Khoga, We're using that Glue and here is the profile we are using: 150'C @ 90 secs. 120'C @ 120 secs u can choose between the two, they r both okay and produce good results. regards and enjoy ur day! Dreamy
