You might also have a dirty/sticky Z-rod resulting in the same problem, although ordinarily you'll see a lot of missed pickups as well.

I hope that you don't miss that data later on. My suggestion of changing align type to "2" (in the extent data) eliminates the alignment step but leaves the data intact.

To get rid of the old info as far as the electrical test and so forth, just try to type in the pick number in CC, it should erase that extra info that you do not need. Do this after you uploaded your information. Hope this helps.
