Russ has a hint by saying "too long of a soak at too high of a temp or being in reflow for too long/hot". I think the board should stay in the oven for 3-4 minutes, spending 60-90 seconds of which during reflow. in order to stay in the oven for 3 m

We have run not AgPd [that we know of]. We can comment on PdNi. [But you're probably have Ni under the AgPd] In general, palladium solution rate is much slower than other sacrificial finish materials that we use for the purpose. The key then is to

We saw your profile, which in my opinion looks alright based on the guideline from the vendor. Can you tell us more about the joints that you cleaned? Are they showing nice wetting and nice and shiny finish? How about your stencil thickness? From my

Hi there There are a number of things worth considering when viewing bga's. Firstly, like any other solder joint that you have been inspecting for years, suface finish is critical. Secondly, and again like other joints shape is important. Now it may

| I'm having a problem getting good reflow on gold sufaced boards. The profile looks good and I have adjusted it both hotter and colder and adjusted the various times ( soak, reflow ) to no avail. What realy gets me Is that a month ago we built some
