Is anyone using PanaCIM or SMS software, with Panasonic CM602 line configuration? We are looking at both software applications in order to collect real time data, create programs and keep track of inventory.

I would run the passive side first just because the BGA is probably moisture sensitive and I wouldn't want to have to keep track of the time between first and second reflow.

When it becomes critical. ie impedance influences the design. Pulling a figure out of the air lets say 100 Mhz. If this is a first time board with TTL or 74HC series IC's you are not in that camp. regards sarason

Hi everyone if once the exposure time is exceeded the only option is to bake the components. I learned there is an "old spec" for the baking conditions (24h/125C or 192h/40C) and a "new spec" which is the current standard specifying conditions of 4

Another important element to consider is the impact of ambient temperature and humidity on Moisture Sensitive Components. The majority of plastic encapsulated ICs are classified as moisture-sensitive devices (MSD). This means that they are qualifie

I have experienced the exact same problem with excess solder touching the plastic component body. The solution in my case was simply to replace the stencil. I was using a reusable stencil frame that had been worn out. I replaced the stencil with a so

Samir, thanks for the reply. We are wondering if this idea came dowm from a customer a long time back, or maybe from Mil Std 2000. I've never worked with Mil Std 2000, so I don't know about that. We can not find anything in Jstd or 610 about it.

Hi, Detergent/saponifiers have indeed the potential to tarnish aluminum. This is due to the high alkalinity of the chemistry (pH 10-12). Things you can do to minimize the effect is: A) Limit the exposure time of the Al with the chemistry. B) Reduc
