Hi, I guess it matters a lot how fast you can change over the machines, then it becomes more cost per placement I guess. I have heard oursourcing companies purchase most of the parts, and I guess there is a lot of money to be made on that. Regards,

Part is being pre rotated already and I also changed the nozzle size from 15mm to 17.5mm this morning. There is no board warpage at all and production is watching for it while an operator puts on a barcode label.

Here is one reason- It eliminates the viscosity change during printing operation from the paste warming up and getting thinner. I would contact your paste supplier and have them give you the full list.

usual solder cream has a viscosity above 800 000pas at 25�C for each 1�C the viscosity change about 30 000 pas at 15�C you will have nothing ( 37% of viscosity less)on your board...

SMT adhesive works great! We actually cut stencils to print adhesive in between areas that always solder short over wave. It's the perfect solder resist. Change a customers board? I thought only Satin could do that?

i suggest not more than 3 too. if u r runnin more than 3, do electrical test..and look for visual changes Indy

Definetly need more infomation. What kind of machine? What type of tool? Where in the process id damage noted, before or after reflow? What type of part? have you tried changing vendor?

just use 63 37 solder for repair. I do not know of any specification which prohibits this and until the people who create the rules change them this is the best. I thought mancorp was an importer of equipment and am thinking they do not have the i
