RoHS

Jason, If IPC has no bearing on the state of the RoHS, I hope that one day some organization will. Here's a thread from another forum that hopefully makes the RoHS supporters re-think. http://www.smtinfo.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=84

Most pick-&-place machine companies will give you their data from the IPC-9850 results in terms of placements per hour. I see it on many machine specification sheets these days.

Aside from a visual first article to IPC 610, what inspection criteria do people put in place post wave solder (pre clean)? Thank you

If you are 100% inspecting, then all assemblies should be inspected to IPC-A-610 not just the first one. It sure would be nice if assemblies # 2 - 1000 were exactly the same as the first article, but they aren't.
