Hi, Thanks for the info. I have been told that the Panasonic nozzles are diamond tipped and as a consequence are quite costly. Do you know how many placements one of these nozzles would be expected to make? Would the nozzle fail by the tip crackin

I remember to have the same issue with a S20 + F4 line, after several tries, we fixed all head nozzles from machines 1 thru 4 with the most commom configuration, and let the F4 machine with the automatic nozzle changer configured with common nozzles

Specify the nozzle size as 1.4 in both the nozzle allocation table and the PD, the nozzles will still pass center test as the size variation is still within tolerence.

We're using 10MPF nozzles to pick 0603 components. I think I have noticed, that it does overlap. Is 08MPF the proper nozzle? These are also the only nozzles that I've had problems with - so this is probably the case.

Another sticky issue is that if you use after market nozzles especially mixed in with Fuji nozzles the Anti-Marking Illumination Disks can be different enough that the vision system will reject nozzles. Jerry

Is this on all 6 nozzles on those particular heads or just some. Try swapping nozzles with another head to make sure you do not have nozzle issues.
