Dek 248 Install Time

Weird question, but I need it for a claim. About how long does it take to assemble, plug in the power and dry cycle a DEK 248 with vision. I'm saying 90 minutes to two hours tops. Additional opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your machine configuration is correct. You may have something assigned to the machine that is no longer there. For 24V check to make sure all of the E-stop jumpers are plugged in.

Try re-seating the Cognex card and the connectors that plug into it. Make sure the fans on the drawer are clean and functioning. Ive seen bad camera cables cause this as well.

Hi, You just take out motion board, clean it & connector on the interconnector board. After done plug in and boot the machine again, it'll be fine back.

I believe there are 2 computers in the machine. If i remember correctly its possible the other computer is stuck on something and its stopping it from booting up. Try to plug a monitor into it and maybe you will see an error.
