| I have boards coated with Humiseal 1B73. At a late point mfg. site we need to remove a series of 0603 resistors for optioning purposes. I have been trying to determine the fastest, easiest way to re-coat the pads after removal. Drying time of the c

Solder Balls and conformal coating

We've never heard of seen of such a thing either. We tried a clean sample board and applied con coat. Same process through out and we saw nothing. After speaking with the original operators who was curing the boards he had left the boards much longer

Mixing conformal coating and RTV

Common RTV does out-gas causing corrosion. NASA allows use of non/low-out-gassing RTV. Try the following companies: * Ablestik Electronic: Materials, 20021 Susana Road, Rancho Dominguez, California 90221 U.S.A., 310-764.4600, F 310-764-2545 * Arlon

conformal coating over inspection stamps

I figured it was just going to take a little searching to find a (more expensive) stamp that used an (more expensive) indelible ink. Not the case. Just can't find anything at all, and the stamp manufacturers say not to use any ink but what they provi

Having success with Circuit Boards #432 Solvent Resistant Ink - Designed specifically for circuit boards. This medium dry ink is highly resistant to solvents .... It is also non-conducting. Note: this ink contains an aggressive solvent so should not

Bubbles on solder joint(after conformal coating curing)

Hi Davef, Thanks...Saw 1 of your thread that you posted : Thanks for providing... From davef : There are many possibilities: * Conformal coat is incompatible with surface residue on the board * Conformal coat is incompatible with solder mask on the

Acrylic VS Poly Urathane conformal coating

Electronics Forum | Wed Dec 22 02:49:37 EST 2010 | raghu

Dear Sir, Please clarify my doubt... What will happened if acrylic conformal coating is mixed with poly urathane conformal coating and mixing of this composition is used to apply for electronic PCBs Thanks & Regards, Raghuveer S.
