The squegee blades on the machine won't move down to level whenever I make a program. It has a standard head. I can jog them manually in calibrate mode but when I try to make a program they don't work. Why?

If there is a tactile sensor on this machine, make sure the switch works properly (view input test screen while pushing plunger in and out) and clean/oil the plunger.

SWAG is prolly right. You can verify the tactile sensor by watching the machine carefully. When finding the stencil height, make sure the board goes all the way up and touches the stencil to trigger the tactile. If it doesn't, then something is wrong. Also when leveling squeegees, each squeegee should touch your stencil twice. If they don not come all the way down check the tactile.

You can open your I/O screen the verify the switch is not sticky or clitchy (high tech NASA terms).

Software wise, make sure you programmed the right thickness board. I seriously doubt this, but may be worth checking.

If that fails, check the gender card. Switch the gender switch to M if you are female, or F if male. Still hates you? Pull down the Emotion window and highlight Mood, then switch setting to Happy. If you bought this machine used it could suffer form post traumatic memory problems. This normally occurs in DEKs from kids pushing their F1 button too many times, but there have been rare cases with MPMs too from people constantly pushing their thumb into it�s tracks balls too hard. Your best bet is to consult your solder paste manufacturer and see if they can exorcise the demons out. If your print is spinning all the way around and puking green slime, it�s too late and you�ll have to rely on manual printing.

Never had an MPM but I've heard some of the modern iterations have a "T" position, in which case you'd be screwed. Oh, wait....

Are you setting up double side PCB that has the tall components on the bottom that being push up by the support pins... ??? Or because your vacuum is leak and not holding the board at the same spot every time you are loading the board.... Board warpped... Not so sure but take a 2 min look to see if solder paste got drop and stuck on the sensor...

The touch down sensor is probably the culprit, however make sure the head is not impacted with old solder paste and that the cylinders that flip the head are functional. I have had problems with one of the cylinders not functioning this caused the head not to level. Most cases it is the tactile sensor. I have not had much luck cleaning this sensor. It is one of the weak links on this machine.
