I have been asked by the powers that be to create a pick and place program for a board that will be split between two Quad 4c machines. Half of the components will be put on with one machine and half with another. I know that the Autoprogram software will do this but it has been 10 or more years since I last tried to have it split a program. When I have Autoprogram generate the program it creates two seperate program names but there is no information associated with these program names. No feeder setup, no sequence data etc. Has anyone tried this recently ?? I would appreciate anyones thoughts or help with this problem.

What version AP are you using? What version windows are you using? I think that the results you are seeing may just be a bug in the software. Did you try to export the programs and look at them on the machine in central controller? Its been a while since i did anything on AP.....so work with me on this....hahahaha...

Thanks for the help. The data doesn't show up until you perform the export (copy) function. The split programs that are in AP still have no data but the exported programs are complete.
