Are there any softwares OR functions inside of the softwares that allow a designer that is creating a very large complicated wiring diagram with say....many terminal blocks and connectors etc... to run a point to point check on his drawing? Bascially QAing his drawing for mistakes. Example: The BOM calls for a 16 guage, black wire from Terminal-block-1 pin 1 to terminal-block-2 pin 2. Whether the design is just reference designators or actually showing the wire going from point to point..is there a function that takes the BOM which has this information in spread sheet form and compares it to the drawing and flags if Terminal-block-1 pin 1 is going somewhere other than terminal-block-2 pin 2 on his/her drawing? Or even flags if the routing is correct, but the gauge the designer spcified in the drawing is incorrect if he/she accidentaly put 14 guage instead of 16 guage. (or the wire PN if not using gauge descriptions)
Thanks, B
