Component price database - which or how?

I have a little problem. We are assembly subcontractor and we purchase most parts ourselves. Currently we have all BOM/Partlists in an Excel format.

We get a few RFQ each month, prices come from well known original sources, Mouser, Digikey etc. and go into the Excel file.

So far so good. There is of course some overlapping of parts in several BOMs. Often with different prices. Sometimes we spend time to find a price on a special part, which is actually already used on another product.

I like to find some sort of database where I can input our price (with a date, currency, maybe datasheets) and have that stored either on our office server, or on our net server.

Ideal would be something that can work with Excel (but we can change that too). It should be accessible to several people and searchable. MS Access as DB is possible MySQL would be better, php as search language is fine too.

Any out of the box software products out there? How do you manage you RFQ parts data (which is not inventory yet)?
