Where can I purchase replacement rubber PCB carrier material? | 22 May, 2013

We're located in New Zealand running an older Fuji pick-and-place machine that uses long rubber conveyers about 1/8" diameter and 8 feet long to move the PCB through the machine. The ones on our machine are old and keep breaking. We've been repairing them by heating the ends and gluing them back but really need to find a source for new conveyers. Can anyone direct us to a source?

Best Regards,

Bert

Just measure width, length and thickness and buy from anyone that sells belts. This is just the website that comes on the top when I typed "conveyor belts" in google http://www.beltcorp.com/profile.html

Hi Bert

I had belts made for my conveyors using Habasit material made by Benson's belting here in U.K. They have been running now for 6 years or so and I am very satisfied with them. We are 12K miles away but check out their website at http://www.benson-beltings.co.uk/home.htm

Good luck

Ahhh yes. The infamous round rubber belts used on the Fuji CP2's and CP3's. :) I remember fondly using a pair of dykes and a Bic Lighter to make my belt repairs. Does anyone know if these are still available from Fuji?

You may be able to find replacments at the Belting companies listed, but I agree... those belts were unlike anything that I had ever seen, or have seen, since.
