Water soluble No-clean Flux ?

Is it possible to have a no-clean flux that could be removed with water. I would like to use a single flux at wave solder that could satisfy both no-clean and water soluble customers, within a contract manufacturing environment.

Thanks, Tim A.

All things are possible Grasshopper. You have two choices:

1 Some no-cleans are cleanable. Talk to your sales rep. 2 Rosin based fluxes are cleaned in hi-rel aps, but not cleaned in many less than hi-rel aps.

Be aware that in both instances, you will not get away with continuing to use your Sears dish washer.

Good luck

Have been playing with VOC free water based fluxes, so far they appear to come clean in an aqueous cleaner, I went to perform Ionagraph testing but our machine was down so I will let you know if they pass ionics.
