Mass defect criterion | 12 December, 2019

Hello,

Could you please tell me how you define a defect to be a mass one? What is a criterion? Numbers? How to distinguish between a set of simple defects and a mass defect?

What metrics you use?

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I don't know what a "mass defect" is. Defects are within AQL [acceptable quality levels] or they aren't.

I start at General Inspection Level 2 in the AQL Chart ANSI/ASQ STANDARD Z1.4-2006 and a sampling plan ANSI/ASQ Z1.4

Adjust the Level for Budget, Riskiness, Supplier History

AQL Stuff thinks about 3 types of defects: Minor, Major, and Critical. If we see a "critical" defect, we reject the lot. Is that what you're aiming at?
