Speedline AP/B printer metric option ? | 13 December, 2019

We've got an MPM Speedline AP/B that's in Imperial ( inch ) units - everything else here is Metric. Can this printer be configured to Metric units ?

Software AP/UP2000 sw ver 7.0c currently installed if that makes any difference

On our MPM UP3000's there is a configuration option in the maintenance menu. It has a button that changes from imperial to Metric.

Not on mine Sadly. When you go to page 2 of the menu the units are displayed for reference only in a grey box on screen. Can't find any settings that will actually change yet

SOLVED !!

Booting up into DOS there's a file called optedt.exe in the AP folder. This is the option editor. It's password protected when you run it, but a quick look inside the code solved that one. QMPM gets you in if you need it
