| Where do I find information about Create SMD machines? I don't know that is that Create real name, but it suppose to be manufactured by Matsushita. | | Create ( AKA KME ) is not only a sister company to Panasonic Factory Automation but is also a subsidiary, sort of, to Panasonic Factory Automation. Confused? Basically, Panasonic has two factories in Japan that manufactures placement equipment for everything from your standard passives to CSP's, flip-chip, TH components, etc. In addition, other equipment such as wafer bumping and wire bonding equipment are made by them. One factory sells equipment under the "Create" name and the other manufacture's under the "Panasonic Factory Automation" name. They are autonomous in function and in competition with each other, but both are under the Panasonic Factory Automation umbrella and have their own idependent support/sales networks. Why? Since they are in competition with each other to make equipment for the Panasonic companies as well as all others, they consistently produce products that are on the leading edge. The major benefit of either the "Create" or "PFA" equipment comes with the knowledge that Panasonic uses their own equipment to manufacturer their OEM products and require the latest in technology. They can be reached at www.panasonicfa.com.

Pretty good explanation, however, for the record the US side is Panasonic Factory Automation Company. Two of the product groups are Create (Former KME) and Panasert. |
