Dual Lane Process Flow

Hello All, We currently run side one of the PCB down lane one of the mounter and side two of the PCB down lane two. Just wondering what is the most efficient way to run the dual lane process, (Shared mode only) is it more efficient to run PCBs with similar cycle times down each lane at the same time?
