What machine P&P choose

What other machines have they got? I've got a gc30, gx37 and gc11. The lightning head has a much more limited height range than the 7 spindle or 4 spindle heads. You can't pick off trays with the lightning either. The GC60 / GC120 are amazing for boards where you've got a lots of the same part, say LEDs etc. They are easy to work on, documentation is very good, programming is pretty straightforward. The software is very old fashioned, 90s vibe but petty easy to deal with. I'd try one in person if you can send compared with Fuji / Panasonic if you haven't already got a bunch of uic feeders.

You question implies they already have UIC machines so already know what to expect and presumably know what they need. If they already have UIC machines, they're already invested in the platform, feeders etc and so this could well be a complete no brainer.

It is possible that in 2024 you can get a more modern UIC machine than a Genesis..

GC120 is essentially two GC60s welded together, you would know if you wanted this capacity or not.

As Poly says, outside the UIC family there are some very strong options from Fuji/Panasonic/Yamaha/Hanwha sometimes the pricing on these is very aggressive even new. These might improve support options, lower TCO or let you buy better supporting software.....

Loved the GC120 but from a price point their insane compared to a panasonic.

GC's are excellent chip shooters, ideally need more info & there is naturally a big capacity output between the 2 as the 120 is basically 2 60's...

So do you need it?
