Camelot 5000 Glue dispensing machine issue | 13 November, 2024

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any experience on troubleshooting Camelot glue machines. Before the machine is powered up, we can pull gantry toward the front and power up machine. We put into trace mode, and everything goes into home position fine. The problem is when We load in a program and try to run, the gantry stays in the home position and errors out with a fiducial screen saying it can't find it. We try going into Syringe and it will not let you move any of the axes. We checked all the Fuses F1thru F9. There doesn't seem to be any obstructions. We replaced the System Board, checked xyz sensors, checked motor brushes and everything seems fine. Unfortunately, this machine isn't supported by tech service so any advice will be appreciated. Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks, Ryan

When it goes through its homing operation, does it indicate that the sequence ran through correctly? Will it let you go into a programming mode where you can trackball around?

Hi,Aurigna2001 Yes, when we put in trace mode it goes to home position without any errors. It will let us load program and but when you click on the x y and try to roll the x,y around with the trackball it doesn't move anything. Also, it doesn't move either when you go to syringe and it used to allow you to roll the trackball and bring the glue head to a different position. Thanks, Ryan
