Regarding Juki thoughts in general, I would exercise my due diligence on surveying existing users regarding their opinions of Juki's response times to support request and availability of spare parts.

As I see there is one main changes on RS-1 (compared to RS-1), which is the camera system. Component camera have a new version which more accurate. All the other things seems to be the same the previous version, maybe they made some software upgrades too - but I don't think it was changed anywhere except the new vision module. The placements speed also increased but a better machine software can make this little increasement also.
