| Does any one have some information on Sony routing machines? Do you know the website, the contact? Thanks. | As in PCB depaneling? The last two Sony integrated lines I saw were using the new patented Die Cutting depaneling technique, not routers. I hear its faster, dust free and imparts less stress to circuits than routing or punching. The company in Japan that makes the low cost patented dies, presses and automation is DieTecs of Kyoto. DieTecs is being suppported in North America by Pioneer Die and Trim Systems, Ltd. in Plainville Ma. so far I beleive they are limiting their production to semi-automatic and lower costing presses and defer the automated in-line systems to DieTecs in Japan for sale into the US. Most people believe this technology is available only from Sony, not so. Pioneer is authorized to support Sony installations on dies also. The technology is suited for panel routed and V scored assemblies.

Are you looking for that small Sony router. If so, I believe you can buy it from WAND. WAND is known for punch type depaneling but they are selling this router as well. Should have no trouble finding info on WAND.

Thanks,

Chris
