| Looking to contact some users of Vitronics reflow ovens. | Which model do you use? | Overall opinion of equipment and company? | Thanks in advance I use an SMR500 without inert reflow, although it's capable. I have had great success with this oven. The belt drive motor went after 5 years. No big deal. Watch out for service calls and spare parts. They'll break your wallet. Regards, Justin Medernach

Steve was one of the pioneers at Vitronics and could give you the insight as no one else, except of cours, Justin (how's that for a plug). Steve went to Conceptronics and messed things up a bit (only joking). After that, unless he's still at Conceptronics, he must be consulting - at long last. Try to find this guy. Probably one of the net group knows. Just a note: I grew up on Vitronics and view them as one of three top ovens. The other two being BTU and Conceptronics. Earl Moon

It's been in operation for 11 years and the only problem we've had with it was a bad relay. *knock on wood*

Much appreciated. The ovens are solid. I have experience on the BTUs too. They kick some butt. I only worked on the TRS platform but they were really solid and needed very little attention. I also really liked the Heller that I worked with down at General DataCom. It was the 1800 series, I believe. Pretty solid as well and able to generate some pretty nice profiles. Best Regards, Justin
