Hi, I'm an SMT refugee working in component manufacture - hey, times are hard! I've been asked by a customer to test some of my parts at high temperature on the wave - up to 360 deg Celsius. I've checked my wave and it's only capable of getting up to 340 deg for a start! I know that if you are doing specific high temp soldering you would use a different bar with varying % of Sn and Pb. But, what would happen if we take the temp of std bar up higher? Any ideas?
