I would like to know if there is any semi automated PM scheduler to aid in prevenitive maintence. Via excel, Outlook,Access or any specific software targeting this subject. Thanks.

Do you currently use any type of MRP system(s) in-house? That is how we have ours setup. Automatically generates a work order for our maintenace department depending on which PM is due (weekly, monthly, yearly). Works really well, and it requires them to close the work order when completed.

... they vary in price from $50 on up, if I recall.

By poking around some of the download sites [ie, tucows, download, etc], you can find some pretty good vehicle maintence shareware that's pretty cheap. Many times you can "test drive" this stuff for 30 days before you have to buy it. No much like that MS carp, eh?
