There are several manufacturers of batch-format de-fluxing systems. Here is a list of them:
Aqueous Technologies http://www.aqueoustech.com (909) 944-7771 Batch and Inline
UnitDesign http://www.unitdesign.com (714) 672-9944 Batch Austin American Technology (512)335-6400 http://www.aat-corp.com Batch
EMC Global Technology http://www.emcgti.com 215.340.0650 Batch and Inline
Speedline http://www.speedlinetech.com 508-520-0083 Batch and Inline
When it comes to batch equipment, there are three configurations:
Solvent Semi-Aqueous Aqueous
All three configurations are capable of removing all flux types (rosin, no-clean, water soluble).
Solvent type machines are relatively uncommon in de-fluxing applications due to ever-increasing environmental regulations.
Semi-Aqueous (solvent wash, water rinse) processes were popular during the initial phase-out of CDC-based cleaning solvents but today are not common.
Today, aqueous represents the conventional wisdom. Aqueous-based chemicals are considered environmentally safe, operator safe, and very effective. These chemicals are widely available from companies such as Aqueous Technologies (my company), Kyzen, Petroferm, Zestron, Alpha Metals and many more.
As far as which specific batch-format de-fluxer to choose, you have many very good choices. All of the above listed manufacturers provide equipment that will remove flux from assemblies. A little due diligence will determine which one offers the best, features, efficiency, price, and of course, performance.
You should also factor in the cleaners ability to handle lead-free applications. Lead-free is more difficult to clean than tin/lead alloys. Talk to each manufacturer to determine their products ability to handle lead-free application.
