I have a Universal GSM which won't change nozzles from the changer. It says something along the lines of "timed out waiting for air pressure to build". Even though it has around 100PSI air pressure. Any ideas how to solve this? Cheers

Make sure all plugs and nozzles occupy the nozzle banks. There should be only one empty position. Make sure all nozzles are fully seated and the machine has the correct location for all of the nozzles. An indication may be the machine is trying to place a tool into a position that already has a tool.

Agree with PDE. We have two GSM's and we get this error often. Palm down e-stop when you get this error message. Machine will drop nozzle bank down after doing some segment repairs. Open covers and make sure nozzles are seated in reference to alignment pins. Palm machine back up and re-start production run. Tell operators to be careful when installing centernest board support blocks/pins as a sweaty palm will lift nozzles out of bank. If trouble still exists, you can disable nozzle bank in machine config. and run on three until you get issue resolved. There is a vaccum pressure gauge procedure you can use to set the vacuum on the nozzle bank - this could be your problem but not likely.

Agreed with the previous posts:

*Make sure there is one empty nozzle changer per head. *Make sure there are no components on the nozzle changers that prvent the nozzle from seating flush with the changer. *make sure all nozzles are fully seated. *Check your nozzles, make sure they are installed coectly on the spindle. * If all of the above checks ok, then check your spindles. Does it happen with one in particular nozzle? If so replace the spindle and try again.

PLease let us know how you solved your problem.

Thanks for everyones help. I have resolved this by filling all but one of the nozzle holders in nozzle changer banks.
