No, you can not attach files to your SMTnet posting. As an alternative, you can post a link to an online hosting site.

Could always open a simple MYSPACE account...www.myspace.com/SMTForum as an example. You can then post your picture here. Can also blog peoples input...

YES I KNOW THIS defeats the SMTNET purpose..But gotta do what it takes to git r done.

It makes no sense that we can't post pictures on this site. I go to many FREE forums and you can post all the pictures you want and it doesn't seem to slow anything down. I realize they will need more server space but there seems to be plenty of advertising to offset the cost. As I said many FREE sites allow you to post so what makes it so different here?

...and it should also be easy for the SMTnet to set a max pixel size and format types for the allowed attached pictures or files, so it would not sink the servers. Otherwise rejection of the attachement(s). If people are concerned with hidden trojans or virus (which could be hidden inside certain image formats), I am sure there are a way of how to handle that as safe as possible and beyond that people open picture or the files at their own risk, as usual on the net. It would be nice to have the option to choose whether or not to view a picture..
