Solderability problem

My factory produces Printed Circuits Boards.Today, my customer says they encounter problem with solder ability issue. Some of the boards have difficulties during SMT solder flow. Could not stick to the pads and the components fell off. Those boards are Leaded HAL finishing which has good reputation for solderability. I have been making PCB for more than 10 years and haven't seen this kind of complaint with HAL finishing. I did some solderable testing in my Lab. The diffusion of solder on boards is good and solered PADs are bright and fully covered with solder. Any one knows what's the root cause?

I am sure that you did a reflow profile.... right ?

Your customer forgot to apply solder paste to the PCB ?

If the component "fell off" sounds like double sided reflow - which is most likely a profile issue. If the parts just don't solder, could be many variables.

I've had supervisors accuse ovens for bad profiles cuase they had missing parts. Too bad the part, solder joint and pad were all missing. No profile in the world will fix that.

This doesn't sound like a solderability issue. It sounds more like nonwetting.
