Wave rider is an oven profiler made by ECD. http://www.ecd.com. They are commonly known for their MOLE. The wave rider is different from the MOLE because it is used to measure the temperature, conveyor speed, etc. of the OVEN instead of the pcb. It is used as PM to ensure that your oven's heaters are working correctly, and that the temperature increases don't happen too quickly... please let me know if you want more info...

The SMTA will be holding a MEMS session at SMTA International in the fall. Please visit http://www.smta.org/smtai and click Special Events. The Emerging Technologies Summit will offer some very good papers on MEMS.
