APS Novastar GF-12 Oven TUNE password | 13 May, 2015

Hi everyone,

I just got a GF-12 oven that looks in good shape but it won't go into WORK mode because it needs to run a TUNE. I've read that this happens when the internal backup battery fails or after a specific time. A while back a member posted that the manufacturer provided the procedure with a phone call, but Novastar has requested $800 for any information. I have the factory manuals with the machine but it does not describe the TUNE process. Does anyone know the passcode and procedure for this? The reason I bought a used oven is so we could afford it but $800 to email a document seems a bit much.

After about 5 minutes of trying different code combinations I found it- hold simultaneously: F1 - Left - Down - Right

FYI the setup menu pass code is: F2 - Left - Up - Down
