KISS selective soldering machines conversion to Europe 240V 50Hz | 28 June, 2024

Hello,

In technical specifications for ACE KISS selective soldering machines it is written :

Power International: 208-230VAC / 1Ph/60Hz 8 amps

Question 1: this must be equipped in Factory, or it's custom selectable on the machine as for many other machines ?

Question 2: will that work for 240V 50Hz instead of 208-230VAC 60Hz ?

Thanks

Ours may be different, but the back power plates (yes, there's two) show 2082/220v 50/60Hz 30A and 115/120v 50/60Hz 15A Thinking the frequency won't matter. You'd be a bit above the high side of voltage.

How did you end up with a KISS over there? They're American built and we have a hard time with parts and service. Nordson bought out ACE and there's little support for the machines domestically.

Nordson bought ACE, and then NORDSON dropped support. TMSSOLUTIONS .US is supporting them now. Some of the former ACE employees started a company and acquired the spare parts and documentation from ACE. Ryan is the guy to talk to. Have your machine serial number ready.
