Nordson FX 940 Ultra Nytvision bottom camera | 31 March, 2025

Has anyone been able to get the bottom camera option to work on Nordson FX 940 Ultra Nytvision? We tried three years ago, but they didn't have the software working yet. And their tech support wasn't sure how to get it working. Nordson is discontinuing the FX 940 and we would like to try the extra camera for barcode traceability. But we aren't going to buy from them anymore unless we know it works before purchase.

As of the most recent updates, some users have had success implementing the bottom camera option on the FX 940 Ultra Nytvision, but only after receiving a specific software/hardware patch from Nordson. This is not a plug-and-play feature--enabling and calibrating typically requires technical support. If your system hasn't been updated since the last attempt three years ago, it's likely that the necessary software wasn't ready at that time.
