We are looking to buy some used equipment. Does anyone have previous experience working with CAE Online? Looking for a reference for them.

I would sell to them however; I will never buy from them - in any scenario. If you don't care about the working condition of the equipment or expecting a "bullpen" broker to stand behind what they sell and you don't care about being tied up in litigation in the State of CA, hey why not. They're just a bullpen brokerage firm that calls EVERYHTING a "tool", focused on total quantity of sales not quality of total sales. They may be brokering something very worthwhile that meets your requirements, however sharing any details and getting valuable information out of them is where they start to send you down the rabbit hole with legal documents for you to sign. Why so much paperwork? Hmm? Due Diligence on your end is my suggestion.

Are you speaking from personal experience trying to buy from them?

I haven't had a problem with them but I have had issues with "brokers" who don't take in the equipment and service it or do any kind of checks what-so-ever... If they are shipping from the seller's facility then you know the broker is doing nothing in this regard and you need to do full due diligence to verify equipment works and is in the condition that you are agreeing to purchase it in. Don't buy anything from a broker until you have seen it demonstrated. You might consider escrow or some other way to protect yourself in the event something shows up in a totally different condition than you were assured by the broker.

Other guys actually service and test the equipment; you'll pay more from them but you get something that works.
