| | | | For the engineers who enjoyed the last two quizs I put on my web page here are two more. One on printed board manufacture and one on rework and repair of surface mount boards. Its a bit of fun but I feel that on line training is coming and is the thing for electronics in 2000. | | | | | | | | What do you think ? Should I do one of my short surveys on it ? | | | | Hey, I thought we weren't advertising in this forum. | | | | | | Marc | | | | | | | | Marc, | | | | What a thing to say about such a kind and gentle man! I mean the soul and heart of him cries out for our response and, of course, all responses are designed not to suck us into a "Clinton." Hell, I'd answer the thing if I knew anything at all. Be a sport. Besides, Cunli and the IPC tolerate his promotions (how much kickback is involved I've no idea) so go with the flow until you get such a gimmick. Damn well wish I could think of one - very smart those Australians - what? | | | | Earl Moon | | | | O.K. You got me. I must admit to a bit of jealousy that I have not been able to create such a gimmick. | | (Maybe it was just the the photo of Bob on his home page that set me off - I'm over it now) | | Thanks! | | Marc | | |
Hell Marc,
It's OK. I've been taking my best shots at the big guy and his image for some time. Larger than life, isn't he - but he can piss me off too.
I used to feel a bit of envy welling up inside too. But damn, I have a little pride left at probably knowing some of the things he does. I agree, it's a good gimmick as no one shuts him down. You should have seen his picture on this forum every time one of his messages appeared he headlined the whole "event." I think his photo (gotta have lot's of guts to show that one) now is hanging in the Louvre.
On the subject concerning gold boards above, he and I actually had a commercial free moment. What next? Could it be a reformation in the making? Na!
Go get 'em Marc,
Earl Moon
