Capability study of a turret head component mounter

Hello everyone out there,

I have been working in the SMT process for a couple o years now, and now I'm partly responsible for the turret head component mounting process. We are about to buy new equipment and I want to do a capability study of this machine type. When we buy pick & place equipment we use glass boards and components for capability study. To use boards and components in glass is not possible for this turret head machine. Can somebody help me with some hints of how I could do a capability study for a turret head machine?
