Zestron SD301 Vs Isoprophyl Alcohol | 1 December, 2004

Hey all, I am currently looking into switching from using Alcohol in our screen cleaner to Zestron SD301. I am confident that it will clean our stencils better, but the cost of Zestron is 3 times that of alcohol. Has anybody done any studies on how long Zestrol lasts compared to alcohol? From a quality standpoint, I want to go to Zestron, but other individuals tend to focus more on the cost standpoints. If we only have to add 1 gallon of Zestron a day to the screen cleaner vs adding 5 gallons of alcohol (which we currently do) the savings will be obvious.

Thanks Brent

Hello Brent, We switched to Smart Sonic's 440-R SMT Detergent and use less than 1 gallon every 4 - 6 weeks! Plus, you would eliminate the low flash point hazard and VOCs.

Smart Sonic is at http://www.smartsonic.com
