Seeing the threads about lead free I realise that all write about SAC305 and SN100C. None about paste with Indium . Why ?

Indium is limited available and very expensive.

Hmm that brings me to an idea maybe we can mix in some enriched uranium and nuke the boards.

Oh well its Friday afternoon

The No-Clean indium lead free paste runs well. We discontinued because of extremely high shipping costs. We can get the same results with cheaper product. Almost all of the discussion in this forum about SAC305 and SN100C have to do with wave soldering by the way.

You were talking about Indium Corp. as opposed to an indium alloy?

Last night I was wondering about flamable flux (Or incendary thermite) for BGA rework. Thought about it for at least 10 seconds.
